?? YOUR 2022 CPS POVERTY BAY HEARTLAND SQUAD ??

Civil Project Solutions Poverty Bay Head Coach Miah Nikora is proud to announce the Squad to contest the 2022 Bunnings Heartland Championship.

“It’s a settles squad with a high number of players returning from the 2021 season, which is great as they’re proven at Heartland level and gives us the opportunity to help grow on the solid foundations laid last year.

“Once again we are extremely proud to continue with our locals policy for the fourth year running. Ted Walters is the only Player of Origin named at this stage but other players of origin players will be brought in over the next few weeks as required.

“We’re excited for four uncapped players Ruan Du Plooy, Adriaan Brits, Braedyn Grant and Mitchell Purvis to come into the environment,” said Nikora.

Tane McGuire and Jayden Milner were unavailable for selection.

Trainings will be 6pm Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday this week at Rugby Park before heading through to Napier on Friday for the Ranfurly Shield Challenge.

Congratulations to all players and their whanau for their selection.

* The Turanga Tane Squad will be named tomorrow for a five-game campaign.
