Civil Project Solutions Lew Brothers Shield Semi-Finals kick-off tomorrow at Rugby Park.
Thank you for your efforts over the past couple of weeks playing under Alert Level 2 protocols. We are still under Alert Level 2 so there are restrictions on our playing environment.
Rugby Park is able to be controlled more easily than our other venues so allowance has been made for 100 spectators per team, meaning there are two bubbles of 100 spectators at each game. Tickets have been issued to clubs and they are managing this. Gates will be monitored – no ticket, no entry.
To help keep distance between bubbles, we have assigned entry points to Rugby Park for each team and its spectator bubbles. No parking is allowed in Rugby Park except for players and officials.
Entry points for spectator bubbles are:
- YMP = main entrance on Childers Road
- Ngatapa = back entrance on Cochrane Street
- HSOB = main entrance on Childers Road
- Waikohu = back entrance Cochrane Street
Entrance for spectators in the bubble will be open 30 minutes before kick-off; 11.30am for the first game and 2.30pm for the second game.
A map is provided that shows the changing rooms for the teams as well as entrance points and location of bubbles for each team spectator bubbles.
It’s not an ideal situation but we support our clubs in deciding to play finals in Alert Level 2. All games will be live streamed with the support of Turanga FM and Trust Tairawhiti and entertaining commentary from Albie Gibson and Whitiaua Black.
